摘　　要：《天使,望故乡》是美国作家汤姆斯·沃尔夫的处女作,是一部具有高度自传性的成长小说。小说讲述了主人公尤金的逃离、寻找与归位的历程,刻画了尤金矛盾而复杂的流浪情结,并透过尤金与家庭、社会的冲突与调和,阐释了作者对命运的深刻思考。文章从浓郁的自然主义特征与诗意的流浪情结两个层面,来解读这部小说的文学价值。“Angel,Looking Home”is American writer Thomas Wolff’s first novel.It is a highly autobiographical initiation novel.It tells the story of Eugene’s escape,search and return,depicts Eugene’s contradictory and complicated complex of roaming,and explains the author’s deep thinking on fate through the conflict and reconciliation between Eugene and his family and society.This paper interprets the literary value of this novel from two aspects:the rich naturalistic characteristics and the poetic complex of roaming.
