摘　　要：本文分析研究了美国佐治亚大学图书馆藏书发展政策。研究发现,其藏书发展政策具有以下特点:以藏书使命为导向、明确藏书发展责任、学科特色鲜明、促进藏书合作、记录藏书发展历史、建立藏书发展组织。该大学图书馆藏书发展政策对我国高校图书馆在该领域建设有以下几点启示:充分考虑藏书发展使命、界定藏书建设责任、支持高校重点学科建设、重视藏书资源共建共享、设立藏书发展专岗等。This paper analyses and studies the collection development policy in University of Georgia Library,finds out the characteristics including guided by collection mission,defining responsibilities of library collection,reflecting distinctive discipline characteristics,promoting collection cooperation,recording collection history and setting collection development organizations.The library collection development policy has the following implications for the construction of the university library in China in this field:fully consider the development mission of the collection,define the responsibility of the collection construction,support the construction of key disciplines in the university,attach importance to the co-construction and sharing of the collection resources,and set up a special post for the collection development.
