摘 要:清末民初孔教运动是传统向现代转型的一次伟大尝试,虽然尝试以失败告终,但在秩序结构信仰崩溃的时代,努力寻求新秩序、新信仰的方法和意图却是有重要意义的。通过对最近20年间关于孔教运动的研究梳理可以发现,许多研究者都紧扣着现代国家的主题来展开,主要有三个方面:孔教的建制化问题、孔教对国家的精神支柱问题以及孔教对文化传承的问题。而所有的问题都是涉及现代国家的核心问题。“孔教运动”是在中国与西方、传统与现代、儒学与基督教共生共在的情境中生成的。毫无疑问,对这一现象的审视要寻找更高的一种视域——当代的视域。The Movement of Confucianism in the late Qing and the early Republic of China was a great attempt of the transformation from the tradition to the modern.Though the attempt failed,it was of significance in the era when faith order structure collapsed,but people were trying to find a way to the new order and new beliefs and intentions.From the past 20 years’researches on the Movement of Confucianism,we can find that many of the researchers are focusing on the theme of the modern state,including three main aspects:the problem of Confucianism institution,the problem of Confucianism being the spiritual pillar of the nation,as well as the problem of Confucianism to cultural inheritance,all of which are related to the core problems of the modern state.The Movement of Confucianism came into being in the context of the coexistence of China and the West,tradition and modernity,Confucianism and Christianity.Undoubtedly,it is in need of a higher vision to inspect this phenomenon,that is——a contemporary vision.
