摘  要:戴维·赫伯特·劳伦斯是英国文学史上公认的小说家、散文家、诗人和文学评论家。然而,他的诗歌直到他去世三十年后才进入了世人的视野。本文选取劳伦斯在不同诗歌创作阶段所做的两首诗歌,探究其诗歌创作过程中从韵律诗到自由诗流变的内在关联性及必然性,揭示作者将有血有肉的人与诗人这二者自我整合的伟大意义。《前行》展示了青年作者在韵律诗创作层面的技艺,而《蛇》则表现诗人在诗歌创作后期如何将其所做的人生哲思与其独特、自由、散漫的诗风进行的完美结合,由此也可以看到一个完整的艺术家劳伦斯和一个对生命极端认真虔诚的劳伦斯。David Herbert Lawrence is widely known as a fictionist,essayist,poet and critic in British literature.Not until 30 years after his death did the brilliance of his poetry catch the eyes of the world.This paper examines two poems from his different life stages to explore and reveal the correlative necessity,even indispensability,of his sliding from metrical forms to unbridled free verses and the significance to self-integration for both a human being and an artist.On the March presents techniques in rhyming poems from his youth while The Snake brings his peculiar,discursive,free verse style implanted with his philosophical contemplations in his late poetry creating into full swing.Through this,readers may see a complete Lawrence as an artist and a true-to-life human.
