摘　　要：1945年创刊的《图书馆学报》,是依托新成立的中国图书馆学社发行的一份图书馆学专业期刊。以汪长炳为代表的一批学人希冀通过此刊的发行,来改善抗战全面爆发以来国内图书馆学理论研究的沉闷状况,开创图书馆学研究的一片新天地。虽然该刊仅出版创刊号之后就停刊了,但从所刊发的论文中可以看出他们努力追逐世界图书馆学研究的最前沿,并在图书馆如何积极推进社会教育方面有了一些新的认知,展现出20世纪40年代中国图书馆学理论研究的较高水准。Journal of Library Science founded in 1945 was a new Library Science journal published by the newly established Chinese Library Society.A group of scholars represented by Wang Changbing hoped to improve the boring situation of the Library Science research since the outbreak of full-scale anti-Japanese war by publishing this journal,and to create a new world of Library Science research.Although this journal only published the inaugural issue,it could be seen that they strived to pursue the forefront of the world's Library Science research,and had some new insights into how libraries actively promote the social education,and reflected the higher level of theoretical research in Chinese Library Science during the 1940s.
