“汉民族”是怎样“炼成”的?——读徐杰舜《汉民族史记》

摘　　要：徐杰舜教授是中国人类学发展的重要推动者,在推动人类学的本土化研究中发挥了重要作用。值此汉民族研究集大成果《汉民族史记》(九卷本)出版之际,文章回眸了徐杰舜的学术旨趣及其学术道路,并在国际民族研究的脉络里检视著者对汉民族研究的学术贡献。在此基础上,文章重点而扼要地介绍了《汉民族史记》的主要内容,并从个人的视角评述了该著作的学术意义与价值。文章借助“炼成”一词来展现汉民族在历史长河中形成和发展的卓绝过程,也表现著者在时空切换中不忘学术初心的锤炼心历,更是试图呈现《汉民族史记》从局部分析到整体提升精进所经受的“炼成”历程。Professor Xu Jie-shun is an important promoter of the development of anthropology in China,and has played an important role in promoting the localization of anthropology.On the occasion of the publication of the great achievement of the Han Nationality Research Collection——"Historical Records of the Han Nationality"(Nine Volumes),the article explores XU Jie-shun's academic interests and academic roads,and examines the author's academic contribution to the Han nationality research in the context of international ethnic research.On this basis,the article focuses on the main contents of"Historical Records of the Han Nationality",and evaluates the academic significance and value of the book from my perspective.The article uses the word"refined"to show the outstanding process of the formation and development of the Han nationality in the long history.It also shows that the author has not forgotten the academic temperament in the time and space switch,and even tried to present the process of"refined""Historical Records of the Han Nationality"from partial analysis to overall improvement.
