摘　　要：斯诺和海伦的梦想之旅分为寻梦、圆梦和续梦三个阶段。“美国梦”的驱动、东方文明的吸引和实用主义哲学的信念构成他们寻梦的动力源泉。20世纪30年代斯诺夫妇为中国革命和人民所做的一切实现了他们的人生价值,圆了他们初来中国的梦想。二战以后,这对伉俪劳燕单飞,但对新中国的发展和关注从未中断。他们各自续写了中美友好大梦,直到生命的终结。他们的梦想之旅为当下中国教育、讲好中国故事和跨文化交际提供了有益借鉴和启示。There are three phases in Snow and Helen′s journey to dream:seeking dream,fulfilling dream and continuing dream.The inspiration of“American dream”,the mysterious civilization of China and the belief of pragmatism make up the initial forces of their dream seeking.What they had done for China in 1930s of the 20th century fulfilled their youthful ambition and made their own initial dream true.After World War II,though separated,both of them devoted themselves to continue the big dream cherished in their heart till the end of their life—enhancing the Sino-US friendship.Their journey to dream may throw light on Chinese education,transmission of Chinese culture abroad and cross-cultural communication.
