向善的成长历程——《红色英勇勋章》的文学伦理学解读

摘　　要：《红色英勇勋章》是美国文学的经典之作,受到研究者的长久关注。文章从文学伦理学批评切入,沿着主人公弗莱明参加战争,获得成长这一伦理主线,解构异化的战争伦理环境与语境,迷失的士兵及社会人的伦理身份和受斯芬克斯因子不同组合和变化的影响而做出的艰难伦理选择等,体现了人物弃恶向善的成长过程,诠释了该小说的伦理教诲功能和给人带来向善的思想启迪,同时也开启了对这部美国文学经典著作伦理意义的重新解读。The Red Badge of Courage is a classic work of American literature and has been a concern for scholars for a long time. From the perspective of ethical literary criticism and following the main storyline of the protagonist Fleming’s participating and growing in the war,this paper explores such ethical issues as the alienated ethical environment,the lost ethical identities of a soldier and a social person,and the difficult ethical choices made by the various combinations and changes of Sphinx factor in order to show Fleming’s journey from evil to goodness. This paper not only reveals this novel’s function of ethical enlightenment,but also makes a reinterpretation of the ethical significance of this masterpiece.
