Objective To discuss and analyze the clinical effect of plastic and cosmetic surgery in emergency repair of facial skin and soft tissue injury. Methods A total of 48 patients with facial skin and soft tissue injury as study subjects were randomly divided into control group and research group, with 24 cases in each group. The control group was treated by routine emergency sutures, and the research group was treated by plastic and cosmetic surgery for emergency repair. The satisfaction with cosmetic effect and infection status were compared between the two groups. Results The satisfaction rate with cosmetic effect of the research group was 95.83%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 75.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^2=4.181,P=0.041<0.05).The infection rate 4.17%of the research group was significantly lower than that of the control group 25.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^2=4.181,P=0.041<0.05).Conclusion Plastic and cosmetic surgery is more clinically useful for repairing facial skin and soft tissue injury than routine emergency sutures. It can improve wound aesthetics and effectively reduce wound infections,so that patients can get greater benefits in the treatment.
