摘  要:高校图书馆馆长应该塑造和提升何种领导力来适应变革的时代?通过对19份中国高校图书馆馆长招聘广告和27份美国高校图书馆馆长招聘广告内容分析,从责任与精神、专业魅力、建立融洽关系、馆员发展、创新、战略规划、管理技能共计7个因素对比了中美两国馆长领导力的要求差别。整体而言,美国的馆长招聘广告描述职责更加清晰、指导性更强。两国馆长领导力都强调管理技能、建立融洽关系和专业魅力,差别在于美国更强调馆长战略规划能力,在领导力要素的具体理解上两国侧重点也略有不同。研究结果希望能对未来中国馆长招聘提供参考,提高人才选拔的契合度。What kind of leadership should university library director shape and promote to adapt to changing times?Based on the content analysis of 19 Chinese and 27 American dean and director position advertisements for university libraries,this paper compares the leadership requirements of Chinese and American libraries from seven factors:responsibility and spirit,professional impact,rapport building,librarian development,innovation,strategic planning and management skills.Overall,position advertisements for library director in the United States are more descriptive and instructional.Both countries emphasize management skills,rapport building and professional impact in the leadership of library director.The United States puts more emphasis on the strategic planning ability of library director,and the two countries have slightly different emphases on the specific understanding of leadership elements.The research results are expected to provide reference for the future recruitment of directors in China and improve the fit of talent selection.
