摘　　要：枣树林墓地位于湖北随州市曾都区东城办事处文峰社区一组、二组、十组(图一),中心地理坐标为东经113°23′7″、北纬31°42′27″,海拔83米。墓地坐落在一条东北-西南向的长条形岗地上,高于四周约3~5米,东西宽约200米,南北长约300米,面积约6万平方米,南起汉东东路,北至文峰社区一组,涢水及其支流厥水交汇于墓地西南部。2018年3月,经国家文物局批准,湖北省文物考古研究所、北京大学考古文博学院、随州市博物馆、曾都区考古队联合对在该墓地勘探发现的86座墓葬及马坑、车坑进行了发掘。The Zaoshulin cemetery includes fi ve large tombs with sloping passageways leading to a central chamber on one side,19 medium sized tombs,and 62 small tombs.According to inscriptions on unearthed bronze vessels,the layout of the tombs,and assemblages of grave goods,this cemetery was the burial place for the high-ranking noblemen of the state of Zeng.Three hierarchies of tombs from large to small in size correspond respectively to the social ranks of marquises and marchionesses,high-ranking noblemen,and low-ranking noblemen.Amongst these tombs,the occupants of fi ve large tombs in three groups are identifi ed as Marquis Qiu of Zeng and his wife Yu,Marquis Bao of Zeng and his wife Mi Jia,and Marquis De of Zeng.The Zaoshulin cemetery,along with the sites and cemeteries at Yejiashan,Wenfengta,Guojiamiao,Sujialong,presents a clear and complete archaeological sequence of the culture of the state of Zeng.It also establishes a reference point for Bronze Age archaeological culture in South China.
