摘　　要：美国的普林斯顿高等研究院是一种与大学不同的纯粹的高端学术机构。它坚守一流人才优先的政策,向全球招募学者,并为其提供优越的研究与合作平台,完全尊重学者的学术自由,在研究模式方面不断改进,获得了人才与成果的双丰收,成为世界一流学者向往的圣地,也成为世界高等研究院的样板。学习借鉴其成功经验,探索出一条符合国情的高等研究院的发展之路。The Princeton Institute for Advanced Studies is a purely high-end academic institution that is different from universities.It adheres to the policy of giving priority to top talents,recruits scholars from all over the world,and provides a platform for research and cooperation,completely respecting academic freedom of scholars.In addition,the research model has been continuously improved,and it has won a double harvest of talents and achievements.It has become a sacred place for world-class scholars and a model for institute for advanced studies around the world.China should learn from its successful experience and explore a successful development path of China's institutes for advanced research.
