De-familization and Re-familization:Comparative Qualitative Research of Generational Support on Chinese and British Young People’s Housing Purchase

摘　　要：随着“六个钱包买房”现象在国内外日益普遍,引发了代际支持购房形塑代际关系,影响经济和社会变迁的争论。结合由争论产生的“去家庭化”和“再家庭化”视角,围绕代际契约研究框架,通过对中英两国青年22次访谈的比较,从青年视角探讨了代际支持购房与代际关系变化的联系。结果发现,中国青年在代际支持的方向性、持续性和影响性上展现出更强的再家庭化趋势。而差异的原因在于:中国青年在个体层面上家庭支持来源较单一,受支持程度较强,理解支持更动态;结构层面上面临更大市场压力,较缺乏政策支持,阶层认同较模糊,更具家庭主义传统。据此,政府应结合建设住房调控长效机制和解决青年住房问题的视角提出政策。The phenomenon of“six wallets(generational support)supporting housing purchase”has become increasingly widespread within domestic and international background.It has triggered the debate that generational support on housing purchase has shaped the intergenerational relationship and affected the economic and social changes.Combined with the perspective of de-familization and re-familization produced by the debate,centered on the framework of generational contract,this study discusses the association between generational support on housing purchase and intergenerational relationship change from the perspective of young people based on the comparison of 22 interviews between Chinese and British young people.The results show that Chinese youth show a stronger trend of re-familization in the direction,persistence and influence of generational support.The difference is due to the fact that,at the individual level,Chinese youth have fewer family source of support,stronger extent of support and a more dynamic understanding of support;at the structural level,Chinese youth face greater market pressure,a lack of policy support,a vague class identity,and a more familial tradition.Based on this,the paper puts forward some policy suggestions for developing the long-term mechanism of housing regulation and solving the housing problem of young people.
