摘　　要：以个人建筑理念和建筑实践为主题,笔者与荷兰知名女建筑师法兰馨·荷本进行了深入探讨。荷本是笔者在耶鲁建筑学院毕业设计的指导教授,笔者有幸再一次在纽约与她在其公寓见面,进行了一次谈话,话题涉及建筑设计、作品、事务所运营、对行业的展望等。作为当代少见的女性建筑师,成长于20世纪80年代社会激荡的时代,现代主义的理性与直觉的碰撞是她作品中永恒的主题。荷本的作品从早期的社会住宅,到欧洲最大面积的现代图书馆,再到综合文化设施,其丰富多样的类型、创建社区的人文主义哲学和注重结构主义的审美倾向,以及始终遵循着“人,场所,目的”(People Place Purpose)的设计理念,都使她位列当今最有影响力的建筑师之行列。Concentrating on the theme of personal architectural concepts and architectural practices,the author conducted in-depth discussions with the famous Dutch female architect Francine Houben.Houben is the author's advisor of graduate design studio at Yale School of Architecture.The author once again had the chance to conduct a conversation with Houben in her apartment in New York.The topics involved architectural design,work,office operations,and prospects for the industry.As a contemporary,larger-than-life architect,she was born in the era of social agitation in the 1980s.The collision of Modernism's reason and Romanticism's intuition is the eternal theme in her work.Houben's work range from early social housing,to Europe's largest modern library,to comprehensive cultural facilities,with its rich and diverse types,community-oriented philosophy and structural-oriented aesthetic tendencies,and her consistent design concept of"People Place Purpose",all make her one of the most influential architects in the world today.
