汪榕培英译《牡丹亭》中忧郁情结的表现——以“译者的声音”为视角

摘　　要：在汪榕培英译的《牡丹亭》译本及其副文本中,译者以多种方式传达了一个声音:杜丽娘的情感集中体现了东方女子的忧郁情结。汪译《牡丹亭》的译者声音体现了主体性、主动性、个性的特点,并在译本内外形成呼应和相互阐释。其译本契合译者在文本外所表达的对原文的情感解读以及获得读者共鸣的目标。"译者的声音"为汪榕培英译《牡丹亭》中忧郁情结的表现提供了一个有效的视角,有助于全面地研究译本生产过程和译本翻译策略的选择。In both the translated text and its paratext of The Peony Pavilion by Wang Rongpei,we can find the melancholy complex of the protagonist Du Liniang profoundly presented in the translator’s voice.His voice,which embodies subjectivity,initiative and particularity,is coherent within and outside the translated text.Wang’s translation corresponds with what he expressed outside the translated text about his interpretation of the emotion in the original as well as his goal of arousing readers’empathy."Translator’s voice"as a perspective,as not only effective for the study of the representation of the melancholy complex in Wang’s translation of The Peony Pavilion,but also illuminating for fully understanding the production process of translated text and choices of translation strategies.
