摘 要:建筑的轻型化设计已经逐渐成为当代建筑创新实践中一种新的范式。然而除了关于结构性能化设计的技术视角的探索之外,建筑"轻型化"背后的时代和文化意义也是当前建筑学界众多学者试图论证和探索的另一个方向。"为什么要采用轻型化的建筑",也因此成为当前建筑哲学和理论中的重要问题之一。以一个著名研究机构——德国斯图加特大学轻型结构设计研究所的发展过程和其中多位重要学者的学术贡献研究的视角,试图论述在结构轻型化思潮的发展过程中,时代、材料、设计技术等在其中发挥的重要作用。The light-weight design of buildings has gradually become a new paradigm in contemporary architectural innovation practice. However, in addition to the exploration of new technical perspectives on structural performance-based design, the era and cultural significance behind the "lightweight" architecture is another major goal that many scholars in the current architecture field are trying to demonstrate and explore. "Why light-weight buildings should be adopted" has therefore become one of the important issues in current architectural philosophy and theory. From the perspective of the development process of a well-known research institution, the Institute of Light-weight Structure Design(ILEK) at the University of Stuttgart in Germany, and the academic contributions of its many important scholars, this article attempts to discuss the important role that culture, materials, design technology played in the development process of its development progress.
