张爱玲《相见欢》英文遗稿的发现与研究

摘　　要：本文以笔者发现的张爱玲一篇无标题英文遗稿为研究对象,结合其他材料,考证、辨析了该遗稿与张爱玲中晚期作品《相见欢》中文"刊版""集版",尤其是《相见欢》英文稿《她笑着说》(She Said Smiling)之间的关系,指出它应是张曾经提及但尚未刊行的英文稿《她笑着说》一文;或至少为英文稿《她笑着说》的另一版本。借此亦可佐证,在张爱玲的文学活动中,存在一条从端点一直延伸到生命尽头的中英文创作之线;其双语书写之间,且具有明显的共生关系。此外,本文通过文本细读和比较,分析了该遗稿与《相见欢》中文各版的差异,阐释了它在张爱玲中晚期中英双语写作中的关联、地位,包括它在张爱玲双语写作模式研究中的独特价值。This article takes an untitled forgotten English manuscript found in University of Southern California’s"Ailing Zhang Special Collection"as the research object,and analyzes its relationship with other versions of Eileen Chang(aka Zhang Ailing)’s mid-to-late work Xiang Jian Huan,especially its unpublished English version She Said Smiling.By pointing out that this very manuscript should indeed be She Said Smiling,an English version of Xiang Jian Huan,this research aims to prove the existence of a continuous bilingual writing practice that starts from Chang’s early career and extends to the end of her life.In addition,this article analyzes the differences between this English manuscript and various Chinese versions of Xiang Jian Huan through thorough textual analysis,explaining its unique research value in studying the relationship between Chang’s mid-to-late Chinese and English writings and understanding her bilingual writing models.
