In recent years, new immigrant writers in the narrative of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression have incorporated a large quantity of historical materials into their writings, exhibiting an obvious"historical tendency".This tendency is not only a feasible way for writers to enter into history, but also a symbol of the absorption and integration of diverse cultures by new immigrant writers in the context of cross-cultural writing. It not only creates true historical narrative quality and unique creative styles, but also embodies the narrative voice and value position of the new immigrant writers. Moreover, the use of these historical materials and the meaning generation of the narrative of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in the new immigrant literature also have inherent consistency. It prompts the narrative of new immigrant literature to pay more attention to the dimension of individuals’life sufferings and human tortures. As a result, the narrative rises above the single national discourse position of the narrative of the War of Resistance of against Japanese Aggression, demonstrating valuable creativity and providing considerable enlightenment for overseas Chinese literary narration.
