摘　　要：美国对中国战略角色的认知是一个不断发展变化的动态过程,并在不同时期呈现出鲜明的阶段性特征,这在美国政府所发布的多份《美国国家安全战略》报告中得到直接体现。推动美国对中国战略角色认知发展变化的原因主要包括:来自国际体系、国际格局变化所带来的外部环境因素,来自美国自身国家战略调整和国内政治生态发展的内部因素,以及中美之间力量对比变化的直接推动。美国对华战略角色认知呈现出延续性和阶段性相结合、单边主义理念和多边主义理念相互塑造的鲜明特点,也体现了美国一贯坚持的对话接触与防范遏制并用的两面性对华战略。The United States' understanding of China's strategic role is a dynamic process of constant development and change,and presents distinct characteristics in different periods,which is directly reflected in the series of National Security Strategy reports issued by the United States government.On the basis of a systematic review of its evolution process f this paper reveals the reasons leading to the txansformation of China's strategic role in United States' understanding:the international system in which China and the United States are located,the external environment brought about by the evolu­tion of the international pattern,and the internal reasons for the adjustment of the United States' national strategy and the development of the domestic political ecology,and the direct impetus of the change in the balance of power between China and the United States.The United States'understanding of China's strategic role is characterized by continuity and periodic features, unilateralism and multilateralism f and also reflects the two-sided strategy of di­alogue,engagement and containment that the United States has always adhered to.
