摘　　要：“格”理论主要指形态格、语义格和句法格的相关理论。基于形态格,学者们讨论了汉语与作格语言的关系;基于语义格,学者们深入讨论了汉语的语义格类型、格语法在汉语信息处理领域的应用以及它对同构多义句型的解释。句法格分为两个阶段:Chomsky(1981)提出的“格位过滤器”和徐杰(2003)在此基础上提出的“扩充的格位过滤器”。前者对被动句做出了精彩的解释,后者把格位释放者分为可选型和必选型两种,这不仅可以加深对被动句的解释,还可以解释“介词悬空”现象;基于该理论所提出的“格位释放序列原则”更可以对汉语中连动句、兼语句做出合理的分析。这些成果对汉语作为第二语言教学有很好的促进作用。“Case”theory includes the morphological case of traditional grammar,the semantic case of case grammar and the syntactic case in Generative Grammar.Based on morphological case,scholars have discussed the relationship between Chinese and the features of an ergative language.Based on semantic case,scholars have discussed the types of Chinese semantic case and its applications in Chinese information processing and explanation to some sentence patterns.The formation of the Case Theory falls into two stages:the Case Filter(Chomsky,1981)provides a wonderful explanation of passive sentences,Xu(2003)proposes the Generalized Case Filter(GCF)based on the Case Filter.It divides the Case assigners into Optional Case assigners and Obligatory Case assigners.GCF can not only deepen the interpretation of passive sentences,explain the phenomenon of Preposition Stranding,whilethe Principle of Case Discharging Sequence based on GCF can also explain the Serial Verb Construction and the Bi-Constituent Construction in Chinese,whichcan promote the teaching of Chinese as a second language.
