摘　　要：法国耶稣会来华传教士冯秉正于18世纪前期编译的法文本《中国通史》,充分利用了《通鉴纲目》等满、汉文史料,是第一部由西方人借助中文文献写成的编年体中国通史。冯秉正还在书中对中国史学史脉络进行了系统梳理,高度称赞了中国的连贯修史传统和史官的求真精神。本文在简要介绍《中国通史》编纂过程及其对海外汉学界影响的基础上,阐释了冯秉正力图向欧洲读者传达中国“信史”的著书目的。Joseph-Anne-Marie de Moyriac de Mailla was a French Jesuit missionary to China,and his Histoire generale de la Chine finished in the early 18th century was the first historical text written by a European using Chinese historical material and the Manchu Tong-kien-kang-mou.De Mailla also systematically sorted out the history of Chinese historiography in the book,and highly praised the Chinese tradition of consistent historiography and the historiographers'spirit of seeking truth.On the basis of briefly introducing the compilation process of Histoire generale de la Chine and its influence on overseas sinology,this article explains the pxirpose of De Mailla's endeavoxir of conveying the idea of"Histoire authentique"in China to the European readers.
