摘　　要：作家许地山是五四时期文学研究会的重要创始人,陈平原称其为“斗士式的书生”和“书生式的斗士”。夏志清先生指出,中国文学史上应该有他的一席之地。许地山是“五四”作家中的“异质性”存在,他的“异质性”缘于他“异域性”经历和创作。他的一生都是以“在路上”的姿态,从颠沛流离的童年生活,再到辗转各国的求学工作生涯,在47年的生命旅途中,其足迹遍布美国、英国、缅甸、印度、新加坡和我国的台湾、香港等地,而其作品亦多以缅甸、印度、新加坡及我国东南沿海等地为背景,呈现出浓郁的广义“南洋”书写风格,生成了中国现代文学别样的异域话语,是“五四”初期南洋叙事的典型代表。许地山一次次向灵魂深处叩问,又一次次用他那充满诗意的文字作答,他搭建的那座理想的精神家园需要真实而纯粹的心灵、浸润着诗意的灵魂才能真正走入。Xu Dishan was an important founder of The Literary Research Association in May 4th Period.Chen Pingyuan described him as“fighting scholar”and“scholarly fighter”.Xia Zhiqing proposed that there should be a place for him in the history of Chinese Literature.Xu Dishan represented“heterogeneity”among writers in May 4th Period,which originated from his experience and writing of“foreignness”.Xu Dishan was“on the road”all his life,from his homeless childhood to his wanderingaround the world for study and work.In his 47 years of life,Xu Dishan has been to U.S.A.,U.K.,Myanmar,India,Singapore,Taiwan of China,Hong Kong of China and so on.Most of his works were set in Myanmar,India,Singapore and the southeast coast of China.His works were typical examples of Southeast-Asian narrativein early May 4th Period,showingremarkable writing style of“Southeast Asia”in a broad sense and generating special foreign discourse in modern Chinese literature.Xu Dishanfrequently explored in his innermost soul and responded with his poetic words.The ideal spiritual homeland constructed by him was accessible to souls only with pure heart and full of poetry.
