新文科背景下独立学院英语专业转型发展探讨  

On the Transformation of English Majors in Independent Colleges under the Background of New Liberal Arts

摘　　要：新工科、新医科、新农科和新文科等理念的提出,为我国当下的高等教育人才培养模式提供了新的契机和思考。对于独立学院英语专业来说,如何培养适合社会发展需要的新型文科人才、如何把英语专业办出自己的特色都是当下亟待解决的问题。在新文科背景下,独立学院英语专业的发展方向应以培养复合型、应用型、并熟练掌握电脑技术和人工智能产品的学生为发展方向,立足区域实际,培养能够在区域发展中发挥出色作用的人才。The ideas of new engineering,new medical science,new agricultural science and new liberal arts provide new opportunities and thinking for the current talent cultivation model of higher education in China.For English majors in independent colleges,how to cultivate new liberal arts talents suitable for social development and how to make English majors develop distinctive features are big challenges.Under the background of new liberal arts,English majors in independent colleges should cultivate students who are inter-disciplinary,application-oriented,and proficient in computer technology and artificial intelligence.Based on regional reality,students who can play an important role in regional development should be cultivated.
