《苏珊娜·穆迪日记》中“再生”原型的建构与象征——基于原型理论的分析

摘　　要：玛格丽特·阿特伍德的诗歌集《苏珊娜·穆迪日记》逆向采用荣格原型理论构造的“集体无意识—原型—原始意象”完美逻辑结构,回顾加拿大拓荒期间,加拿大先祖穆迪夫人摆脱身份错乱感、实现“再生”的经历,完成穆迪夫人“再生”原始意象的构建;剖析穆迪夫人“再生”原始意象的激活与穆迪夫人“再生”原型的显现过程,实现“再生”原型的建构;展现“再生”原型所象征的加拿大拓荒先祖选择回归旷野、构建加拿大独特文化的加拿大式坚守精神,促成“再生”原型背后加拿大民族集体无意识在加拿大人心中的回归。这一逻辑结构的逆向运用,使加拿大人民感受到了祖先遗传下来的强大精神指引,有利于加拿大人民重新审视自我,拾获精神遗产,构建民族身份归属。Applying the consummate logic structure of collective unconscious-archetype-primordial image of Jung's archetypes in reverse order,Marget Atwood's poetry collection The Journals of Susanna Moodie describes the Canadian pioneer Mrs.Moodie's getting over her identity confusion to establish the primordial image of rebirth in the pioneering years.This paper constructs the archetype of rebirth by analyzing the activation and manifestation of Mrs.Moodie's rebirth and portrays what the rebirth symbolizes:the Canadian persistence,which forms the unique Canadian culture,with which the Canadian pioneers choose to return to the wilderness,and the collective unconscious the Canadians regain,which forms the backbone of the archetype of rebirth.The reverse of the consummate logic structure gives Canadians a strong sense of spiritual guidance from the pioneers to help them reexamine themselves and construct their national identity.
