摘 要:东西方心灵观的比较研究本该是中国哲学工作者的优势领域,而西方学者在这里又捷足先登了。既然有西方的积累和铺垫,加上已有研究中存在的问题和欠缺,因此我们在这里仍可以大有作为、后来居上。纵观已有的心灵观比较研究,一个突出的局限性是没有看到中国心灵观在本领域的贡献。有的即使有所关注,但误解甚于正解。中国心灵观对心灵的开发、挖掘进到了比西方人关注得更深的本体论层面,所取得的成果是比较研究必须予以关注的。在具体的比较研究中,相对于发现真理、进行理论探讨本身这一根本目的而言,求同比求异更重要。因为真理往往包含在不同文化共通的思想之中。心灵观比较研究的一个重要工作就是通过对共通思想的挖掘,探寻解决心灵观问题的出路。Chinese philosophers should be superior to the Western scholars in the study of comparing the eastern and western views of the mind.The latter,however,surpassed the former,and leaving him far behind.Reviews of the existing comparative studies find little contribution from the Chinese scholars,or rather,more misunderstandings than correct understandings.This paper argues that Chinese philosophers,with the accumulation from the west,and the blindspots and deficiencies in the existing studies,still have chances to catch up the Western scholars,in that Chinese studies of mind view have developed into a deeper ontological level than that of the westerners’,and thus,its achievements in comparative study should be recognized.This paper concludes that in specific comparative study,it is more significant to seek common ground than to seek differences in order to discover the truth and carry out theoretical discussion itself,since truth is often contained in ideas that are common in different cultures.And furthermore,one of the important tasks in the comparative study of mind view is to explore the way to solve the problem by exploring the common thought.
