摘 要:藏南拉萨地体南缘发育白垩纪日喀则弧前盆地,记录了新特提斯洋向拉萨地体的北向俯冲。日喀则弧前盆地以碎屑岩为主,夹少量泥灰岩、灰岩等,由下向上依次沉积了冲堆组、桑祖岗组、昂仁组、帕达那组、曲贝亚组,并于印度-亚洲大陆初始碰撞启动后沉积了曲下组和加拉孜组。由于保存完整、露头较好,该盆地得到了国内外地学界的广泛关注。尽管如此,目前能够公开查阅的盆地内基础岩石学数据仍比较有限,以至于大量岩石学工作被重复开展。因此,本数据集选取冲堆组、昂仁组、帕达那组3套白垩纪碎屑岩地层共计191个岩石薄片,使用偏光显微镜对其进行了图像采集,以便更好地共享和利用这些基础地质数据。本文所选择的岩石样品包括5块泥页岩、2块粉砂岩、158块砂岩、11块砾岩、7块砾石、7块硅质岩、1块火山碎屑岩。此外,本数据集还收录了这些岩石样品所在的10条地层剖面的详细信息。除了为基础地质学研究提供原始资料外,本数据集也可应用于人工智能识别在内的跨学科合作研究。Developed along the southern margin of the Lhasa terrane,the Cretaceous Xigaze forearc basin in southern Tibet records the northward subduction of the Neo-Tethys to the Lhasa terrane.The Xigaze forearc basin consists of mainly siliciclastic rocks interbedded with minor marls and limestone,dividable into Chongdui,Sangzugang,Ngamring,Padana,Qubeiya,Quxia and Jialazi formations,the latter two of which were deposited later during an initial India-Asia collision.While the forearc basin has been well-studied over the decades for its intact preservation and good exposure,petrological data are far from accessible which resulted in repetitive petrological studies.This dataset includes polarized microphotograph of a total of 191 Cretaceous clastic rock sections from the Chongdui,Ngamring and Padana formations,covering 5 shale sections,2 siltstone sections,158 sandstone sections,11 conglomerate sections,7 gravel sections,7 siliceous rock sections and 1 pyroclastic rock section.For more effective petrological data sharing,the dataset also comprises detailed information of the 10 stratigraphic sections where these sections were sampled.It provides petrological data for basic geological research,as well as other interdisciplinary research,such as artificial intelligence recognition.
