摘　　要：极化是电磁场与电磁波课程教学中的一个重要内容.常见判定电磁波极化的方法比较复杂.该文以复振幅矢量表示的电磁波为例,给出了一种通过比较复振幅矢量平方的模值和复振幅矢量模值的平方比值大小的方法来判断电磁波的极化状态.方法的简单易行,使学生更容易理解和掌握极化的概念.Polarization is one of the primary characteristics of electromagnetic waves,which is both the key and difficult point in electromagnetic field and wave.In this paper,the wave is described in terms of the complex amplitude vector,and the ratio between the square of the magnitude of the complex amplitude vector and the magnitude of the square of the complex amplitude vector is used to describe the polarizatin of the electromagnetic wave.This method is proved to be correct and effective by theoretical analysis,which is easier to understand for students.
