试析19世纪末英国大规模海军建设的推动因素

摘　　要：19世纪后期,英国的海军建设经历了一个由相对不受重视到开始进行大规模建设的调整,标志性的事件是1889年英国出台的《海军防御法案》,该法案确立了英国海军建设的“两强标准”,拉开了19世纪末20世纪初英国大规模海军建设的序幕。英国的大规模海军建设是新帝国主义背景下英国对外扩张的需要,也是英帝国防御的亟需。此外,工业革命所引发的造船技术的大变革和从大海军建设中获益的国内多个阶层,也是推动英国海军建设持续进行的重要因素。During the late 19th century,British naval building was relatively neglected.In 1889,the Naval Defence Act was put forward.The act established the two-power standard for British naval building,which was followed by large-scale naval building in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.Britain's large-scale naval building was the need of its external expansion and imperial defense.In addition,the development of shipbuilding technology and the various domestic classes who benefited from the naval building were also important factors to promote the continuous construction of British navy.
