摘　　要：1843年上海开埠后,生活在澳门的葡萄牙人跟随英国人来到上海,却因其混血身份而遭受歧视。上海葡萄牙人从经济层面依赖英国和美国商行提供的就业机会,在社会生活层面也逐步向英国人的生活方式靠拢。在这样的适应过程中,尤其是第二次世界大战的影响下,上海葡萄牙人在外侨社会内部的地位上升,迎来了新的社会交往空间,表明上海外侨社会内部发生了由微到著的权力变化。After the opening of Shanghai, some of the Portuguese moved from Macao to Shanghai by following the British, and were discriminated because of their mixed-race. The Portuguese in shanghai were economically dependent on the employment provided by the British and American merchants, and had the tendency of turning to the British way of social life. With the process of adaption and the impact of the Second World War on Shanghai, the Portuguese achieved an improvement of social position at the foreign residents community in Shanghai,and obtained a new space of social interaction, which express the changes in power at the foreign residents community in Shanghai.
