摘　　要：司马迁以他思想家的敏锐和历史家的洞察力,发现原本被视为美德风行一世的万石君家风,所培植和陶冶出来的竟是一批碌碌无能的庸人、草包、窝囊废,其末流竟至结出了“微巧”“处谄”的孽果!他担心,如果按照这种家风的模子和路子培育和陶塑我们的后代,那对我们的民族性格、民族精神会有多大的毒害?堂堂的中华民族,将伊于胡底?出于深重的忧患意识和历史责任感,他决定,要把这个无情的现实予以曝光,以引发世人的警醒。《万石张叔列传》其实是最早接触民族精神的作品,是《阿Q正传》的先声。Sima Qian,with his keen insight of a thinker and a historian,found that the widely accepted family virtue tradition of Wan Shi Jun turned out to have borne evil fruits producing a group of“tricking”and“flattering”mediocrities,brats,cowards.He was worried that if the kind of family tradition was taken to cultivate our future generations,how much harm would it do to our national character and spirit?When it would end to do it to the great Chinese nation?Out of a deep sense of distress and a sense of historical responsibility,he decided to expose this cruel reality to alert the world!In fact,Wan Shi Zhang Shu Biographies is the first work to deal with the national spirit,and is the forerunner of Ah Q Biography.
