摘　　要：近日读者留言东莞图书馆引发了社会关注和热议,让更多人重新审视图书馆的价值和阅读的意义。城市图书馆是在现代化和城市化浪潮中孕育成长起来的,为城市带来了新的文化景观和文化象征。面对智慧化与多元化的发展趋势,针对城市图书馆如何提升内在功能,助力全民阅读,彰显专业优势,实现社会价值等问题,笔者对东莞图书馆李东来馆长进行专访,以期引发更多图书馆同行的专业思考与实践探索。Recently, readers’ comments in Dongguan Library have aroused social concern and heated discussion, which makes more people re-examine the value of Library and the significance of reading. City library is bred and grown up in the wave of modernization and urbanization, which brings new cultural landscape and cultural symbol to the city.In the face of the development trend of intelligence and diversification, the author makes an exclusive interview with director Li Donglai of Dongguan Library, in order to arouse more professional thinking and practical exploration of Library colleagues, aiming at improving the internal function of city library, helping the whole people to read, highlighting professional advantages and realizing social value.
