摘　　要：近代中国是一部被动挨打的屈辱史,又是被迫与世界联系的现代化史。近代留学生作为枢纽,将世界与中国联结在一起,中国向西方学习的过程中积极谋求民族解放与国家复兴。国家与青年皆认识到军事落后是被动挨打的重要原因,因而急于改变国家现状的大多热血青年在留学时选择了到德国、日本军校学习,这些军事留学生成为推动中国军事现代化的强大力量,对近代中国军事现代化产生了重要作用与影响。Modern China has a humiliated history of being bullied passively,also a modern history of being forced to connect with the world.As a hub in modern times,international students have connected the world with China.China actively seeks national liberation and national rejuvenation in the process of learning from the West.Both the country and the youth realize that military backwardness is an important cause of passive beatings.Therefore,most of the enthusiastic young people who are anxious to change the state of the country choose to go to German and Japanese military schools when they study abroad.These international military students become a powerful force to promote China's military modernization,play an important role and exert much influence on Chinese military modernization.
