一例虎杀婴食仔行为分析

摘　　要：母性缺失会导致哺乳期间不哺乳、弃仔,甚至食仔行为。笔者通过监控录像、现场观察等方式,对1只雌性华南虎(Panthera tigris amoyensis)杀婴食仔行为进行初步研究,观察其杀婴食仔过程,结合日常饲养管理,推测诱发此次杀婴食仔行为可能在于高龄泌乳能力差、幼崽身体缺陷或者频繁舔舐误伤幼崽,不排除人为干扰和疾病因素。并针对诱因提出饲养管理建议,为虎的人工饲养管理提供参考。Lack of maternal experience can lead to non-lactation,abandonment,and even cannibalistic infanticide prior to weaning of tiger cubs.Through video monitoring and on-site observation,we studied the cannibalistic infanticide of a female South China tiger(Panthera tigris amoyensis).Based on daily feeding management,we speculate that cannibalistic infanticide may be caused by poor lactation capacity due to elderly parturition,physical defects of the cub,or accidental injuries to the cub due to frequent licking,but human interference and disease factors are not excluded.We offer breeding management recommendations as a reference for captive breeding of tiger.
