The embroideries unearthed along the Silk Road usually show influences of different cultures due to the special geographical location of the Silk Road. The embroideries from Shanpula,Noin-Ula,the Mogao Grottoes,Astana and Dulan were taken for example.By comparing them to the archeological examples of the same or similar periods from neighboring areas,we can see the close cultural connection from neighboring areas:The embroideries with scrolls from Shanpula are the result of development of the Chu and Han Culture of China to the west. The embroideries with animal patterns from Nion-Ula show an influence of Scythian culture on Xiongnu. The Buddhist embroideries and Bodhisattva sculptures found at the Mogao Grottoes show the development of Indian Buddhism culture to the east. The embroideries with pearl linked pattern and crescent pattern from Astana and Dulan represent Persian and Islamic cultures from the west. The collision and integration of multiple cultures on the Silk Road could be seen from the embroideries unearthed along the Silk Road.
