摘　　要：Focusing on parody,this paper tries to explore“Joycing”parody and mainly investigates its usage in Ulysses’s seventeenth chapter,‘Ithaca’.Linda Hutcheon indicates that parody is one of the techniques for writers to“trans-contextualize”the past and then go off with their own ideological ends.[8]Joyce writes beyond the past and creates his own model of writing in the literature by employing the technique of parody tactfully.
