摘  要:介绍按ASME规范案例CC N-659-2,用超声相控阵(PAUT)法取代传统射线照相法检测小径管环焊缝中周向与轴向缺陷的方法和结果。制作植有典型缺陷的验证焊接试样,配置回转型机械扫查器和专用探头楔块,制定纵、横缺陷S扫查程序,掌握缺陷检出、定量、表征方法,控制缺陷定位、测长偏差,完成PAUT检测工艺前期验证演示,是核电厂3000多小管焊接接头现场成功检测的关键。展示了小管环焊缝PAUT结果的四种显示方式(S扫、C扫、D扫和极坐标显示)图例。意在为能源工业典型设施典型NDE高效优化检测提供借鉴。This article presented the methods and results of using the phased array ultrasonic testing(PAUT)technology for inspection of circumferential and axial defects in girth welds of small diameter pipes in lieu of the traditional radiographic testing(RT)according to the ASME Code Case N-659-2.The key to the successful inspection of more than 3000 welding joints in small pipes of a nuclear power plant on site is to make the welding demonstration specimens that contains the planted typical defects,to configurate a rotary type of mechanical scanner and special probe wedges,to prepare the sector scan procedures for longitudinal and transverse defects,to master the methods of defect detection,sizing and characterization,to control location and measurement deviations,and to complete the verification demonstration in the early stage of testing process.The four display modes(S scan,C scan,D scan and polar coordinate display)of PAUT results of girth welding in small pipes are given as legends.It is intended to provide reference for the efficient and optimized inspection of typical NDE of typical facilities in energy industry.
