威尔逊时期美国的巴勒斯坦政策评析

摘　　要：威尔逊时期美国的巴勒斯坦政策是巴勒斯坦问题形成的重要原因。犹太复国主义运动兴起后,美国对犹太复国主义的态度经历了从动摇到支持的转变。美国政策的转变恰恰发生在标榜奉行理想主义外交的威尔逊总统时期。作为倡导理想主义外交的威尔逊总统,在对待犹太复国主义问题上,竟然违背了理想主义,选择了维护美国利益的现实主义政策。由此可见,在美国外交实践中,理想主义和现实主义一样,只不过是美国实现自己政策的工具。至于运用哪种工具,一切取决于美国的国家利益。The American policy toward Palestine during Wilson’s Administration was the major cause of the Palestine issue.With the rise of the Zionist movement,the U.S.changed its attitude toward Zionism from vacillation to support.The change of American policy happened precisely during the period of President Wilson who put forward idealistic diplomacy.As an advocate of idealistic diplomacy,President Wilson,by supporting Zionism,violated idealism and chose to safeguard the realistic interests of the United States.Thus,in American diplomatic practices,idealism or realism,whatever it be,only serves as tools for the United States.
