西北科学考查团纪念邮票票面内容及发行缘由考述

摘　　要：西北科学考查团成立并活动于20世纪二三十年代,成就斐然,影响深远。1932年6月,中华民国邮政为考查团发行一套纪念邮票,这是我国政府部门首次为学术团体发行纪念邮票。本文依据考查团成员的相关记载及前人的探索成果,辅之以中国国家博物馆所藏的考查团纪念邮票,对该套纪念邮票的规格、票面文字及票面图案等内容进行考述。关于发行此套邮票的缘由,通常所认为的由考查团筹集资金并非唯一动因。对于西北科学考查团来说,依托发行纪念邮票可以提升自身的影响力,争取社会各界对于科考事业的进一步支持;从政府层面来看,之所以同意发行邮票,有借此实现自身政治目的方面的考量;在邮政发展史上,为重大事件发行纪念邮票是一种惯例,考查团的活动显然属于这样的事件。正是多种因素共同作用,促成了此套纪念邮票之发行。The Sino-Swedish Northwest Expedition was launched and stayed active in the 1920s–30s.It had made great achievements and had far-reaching influence.In June 1932,postal service of the Republic of China issued a set of stamps commemorating the expedition group,marking the first time in China that commemorative stamps were issued by the government for an academic organization.Based on records by members of the expedition group,previous research findings and commemorative stamps in the National Museum of China collection,this paper discusses the format of and inscriptions and picture on this set of stamps.Issuing the stamps to raise fund by the expedition group,as is generally believed,should not be the only reason.Analysis shows that issuing commemorative stamps would enhance the expedition group’s influence and encourage further support from different sectors of society;at the government level,it was done for political purposes;and in the history of postal service,it was a common practice to issue commemorative stamps on the occasion of great events,while the expedition obviously was one of such events.Various factors had contributed to the issuance of these stamps.
