中外校际合作协议翻译中的“信”与“达”

摘　　要：中外校际合作协议涉及学术交流、人才培养、课程对接等事宜,此类文本翻译语言的严谨和规范对于合作项目的顺利签署以及减少和避免不同文化间的误解和纠纷具有举足轻重的作用。中外校际合作协议在词汇、句法、语篇方面有其特征,翻译要力求“信”与“达”。具体翻译实践中,要关注同义词与近义词、情态动词shall、长句和被动语态的翻译。Agreement of Sino-foreign intercollegiate cooperation involves academic exchanges,talent training,curriculum coordination,etc.Its translation requires preciseness and correctness,which plays a decisive role in the success of cooperation as well as the reduction and avoidance of misunderstanding and disputes among different cultures.The translation should be faithful and expressive because the agreement has its characteristics in terms of vocabulary,syntax and discourse.In practice,attention should be paid to the translation of synonyms and near-synonyms,the modal verb shall,long sentences,and passive voice as well.
