摘　　要：文章通过对西藏寺庙壁画中体育竞技的分析,认为吐蕃早期已有了一定内容和形式的体育竞技,并基本形成了一定程序和规模的体育赛会。从本质上看,西藏古代体育竞技更多地反映了人与自然力的关系和人对自身来源、自身力量的认识,对构建中华民族多元一体的体育文化作出了贡献。研究对找寻西藏古代体育竞技的历史活动痕迹与发展脉络,发掘、整理和提炼最具特色的西藏古代体育资源与文化内涵,为壁画体育竞技的阐释和图像学研究开辟新的途径,为当代西藏体育项目的开发与设计提供新的思路。Based on the analysis of sports competition painted on the murals of the temples in Tibet,this article re⁃veals that there were certain contents and forms of sports competition in the early time of the Tubo Period,and basically had formed a certain procedure and scale of sports competition.In essence,the ancient sports competi⁃tion in Tibet reflects the relationship between man and natural forces,people's understanding of their own ori⁃gins and their own capacity,and the sports contribute to the construction of the multi-integrated sports culture of the Chinese nation.This research may be conductive to further exploring the history and development of the an⁃cient sports competition in Tibet,and searching,organizing and refining the most distinctive ancient sports re⁃sources in Tibet and their cultural connotations,opening up new ways for the interpretation of the sports competi⁃tion painted on murals and its study on iconology,and provides some new ideas for the development and design of contemporary sports in Tibet.
