摘　　要：《可以吃的女人》历来被视为女权主义的先声,但它通过女主人公玛丽安所经历的一连串心理冲击,反映的并不仅仅是女性面临的问题,而是整个后现代人类的焦虑。由于彼此不能理解,每个人都是孤立的,但无意识中受到生活的操控,人们又缺乏独立的勇气甚至意识。人活在他人当中,迷失了自我,而同时他者其实也是缺席的,所以一切都显得很不真实。不同文化会对这部小说有不同的解读,对待其中人物的态度也有所区别,但总体上人们所面临的问题是一致的,只是对于这些问题所感受到的焦虑程度会有所不同。The Edible Woman has always been regarded as the forerunner of feminism,but it reflects not only the problems faced by women but also the anxiety of the entire post-modern human through the series of psychological shocks experienced by Marian MacAlpin.Because they cannot understand each other,everyone is isolated,but they are unconsciously controlled by life,and people lack independent courage or even consciousness.Human beings live among others and lose themselves,while at the same time others are also absent,so everything seems very unreal.Different cultures have different interpretations of this novel,and the attitudes towards the characters in them are also different,but generally the problems people face are the same,but the degree of anxiety they feel about these problems will be different.
