摘　　要：《坎特维尔的鬼魂》是王尔德创作的一篇充满现代主义色彩的小说。在小说中,通过颠覆传统的人鬼二元对立关系、使用多中心第三人称叙述手法和戏仿、反讽等小说写作技巧,王尔德消解了传统哥特小说的叙事方法,颠覆了传统哥特小说中的人鬼等级关系。同时,通过对鬼和物的隐喻性描写,王尔德考察了新旧大陆之间的社会文化差异,对旧大陆的傲慢和固执进行了讽刺。The Canterville Ghost,written by Oscar Wilde,is a short story full of modernity.In the story,through the subversion of the traditional binary antagonism between human and ghost,the use of multi-centered third-person narrative technique,and the writing techniques of parody and irony,Wilde dispels the traditional narrative of Gothic novels and overturns the traditional hierarchy between ghost and human in Gothic novels.At the same time,Wilde makes metaphorical description of ghosts and objects in the story,and by doing so he investigates the social and cultural differences between the old and new continents and satirizes the arrogance and obstinacy of the old.
