摘 要:基于PAM4(4 Pulse Amplitude Modulation,4阶脉冲幅度调制)技术设计了一款50G QSFP单纤双向光模块,用以满足5G网络建设前传网中带宽需求大、光纤资源紧张、速率需求增加的现状。使用BOSA光器件实现单纤双向(BIDI,Bidirectional)传输提高光纤资源利用率;使用PAM4调制技术实现25G光器件传输50G信号,达成单波长速率翻倍;通过眼图及抖动压力测试验证性能满足IEEE802.3cd中50GE以太网相关要求,能稳定进行10 km信息传输。Based on PAM4(4 Pulse Amplitude Modulation)Technology,a 50G QSFP bidirectional optical transceiver was designed to meet the current situation of large bandwidth requirements,tight fiber resources,and increased speed requirements in the 5G fronthaul network construction.This module can improve the utilization ratio of optical fiber resources by using Bosa optical device to realize bidirectional transmission of single fiber.It can realize that 25G optical device can transmit 50G signal and double the single wavelength rate by using PAM4 modulation technology.The eye chart and jitter pressure test show that the performance meets the requirements of 50GE Ethernet in IEEE802.3 cd,and can transmit 10km information stably.
