Pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD)is a pelvic floor supporting tissue defect and injury disease. The main manifestations are pelvic organ prolapse(POP),various types of urinary incontinence, rectal outlet disorders and other defecation dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, chronic pain, which are one of the five major diseases affecting women's quality of life.Delivery is the first independent factor leading to PFD.With the comprehensive liberalization of China's two-child policy, the incidence of PFD among Chinese women will increase rapidly with the increase of the number of pregnant births, and it will become a common health and social problem that Chinese women are looking forward to solving. At present,it is generally believed that perinatal period is not only the peak time for pelvic floor dysfunction, but also an important stage and ideal opportunity for the prevention and treatment of such diseases.Early post-partum pelvic floor rehabilitation exercise can make damaged nerves and muscles repaired in time, prevent the occurrence of PFD and improve the symptoms of postpartum urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. The purpose of this article is to discuss the research progress of the measures of postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation.
