摘　　要：中國法律援助基金會是經國務院批准依法在民政部登記注册的全國性公募基金會。以保障全體公民享受平等的司法保護,維護法律賦予公民的基本權利爲宗旨;主要任務是募集、管理法律援助基金,爲實施法律援助提供物質支持,宣傳法律援助制度,維護司法公正。2008年被民政部評爲AAAA級基金會,2010年被民政部評爲“全國先進社會組織”。先後榮獲“中國十大法制人物”榮譽獎、“中華慈善獎”、“社會公益示範工程十佳示範項目獎”、“全國維護婦女兒童權益先進集體”等獎項。China Legal Aid Foundation(CLAF)is a national public foundation approved by the State Council,and registered through the Ministry of Civil Affairs.CLAF5 s objectives are to guarantee all the citizens enjoying equal legal protection and to safeguard the basic rights of all citizens endowed by law.The main missions of CLAF are raisi ng funds,managing legal aid fun ds,providi ng fin ancial and material support for implementing legal aid projects,promoting legal aid system,and maintaining justice.The Ministry of Civil Affairs(MOCA)assessed CLAF as a 4A foundation in 2008,and MOCA conferred CLAF National Advanced Social Orga nization in 2010.Si nee its fun ding,CLAF has made outstanding achievements and received many awards,including the honorary award of Top Ten Figures in China Legal System,China Charity Award,Top Ten Project of Social Public Welfare Demonstration Project Award,Advanced Organization of Protecting the Rights of Women and Children,etc.
