摘　　要：AT the beginning of this year,people around the globe had a multitude of reasons to expect 2020 to be a super year for biodiversity and action on climate change emergencies.The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the United Nations,the first UN summit on biodiversity at the level of heads of state and government,the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC),and the second extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity(CBD).
