摘　　要：阳台是常见的建筑元素,与日常生活方式和品质密切相关,对建筑表情也有很大影响。阳台也一直是建筑设计创作的重要题材。在中国,住宅阳台是最变化多端的功能空间,小小阳台,最容易泄露生活的秘密,也最能表达生活的意见。本文从多个角度对阳台的属性、特征以及本质进行论述,以期引发对这一常见建筑元素更深层次的学术思考。Balcony,as one of the m ost common building elem ents,usually correspon ds closely to the style and quality of one's daily life.It also determ ines the facial character of street buildings.The design of the balcony is always the favorite focus for architects.In contemporary China,the housing balcony is the most adaptable functional space,in which it unintentionally leaks the secret of the family privacy,and unconsciously express the discontent ideas for the residents.With the multiple perspectives,this article discusses the spatial attributes,the basic characters as well as the prototypical natures of the balcony,in order to evoke deeper investigations on this common element of architecture in an academic sense.
