摘　　要：东部非洲地区黑棉土吸水膨胀、失水收缩开裂的工程特性严重拖延了施工进度。文章简述了东部非洲地区黑棉土所造成的病害,给出了黑棉土路堤化学和物理两种处治方法。以卢旺达沿湖路为背景,结合现场实际情况,综合权衡经济性因素,选择了黑棉土路堤物理处治方法,并通过试验路段证明了物理处治方法的实用性,为后续施工提供了技术支持。The engineering characteristics of black cotton soil in East Africa,such as water swelling,shrinkage and cracking due to water loss,have seriously delayed the construction progress.In this paper,the diseases caused by black cotton soil in East Africa are briefly described,and the chemical and physical treatment methods for black cotton soil embankment are given.Combined with the practical conditions of the embankment in Rwanda,the physical treatment method is proved to be feasible.
