摘　　要：美国工程与技术认证委员会(ABET)是美国工程技术领域最具国际权威的认证机构,是《华盛顿协议》的发起组织之一。对ABET的2020-2021工程教育认证标准的通用标准和机械类专业标准进行分析,明确其认证标准的具体要求,从培养目标、课程体系、师资队伍等角度提出了其对我国机械类专业建设的应对策略。Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology(ABET)is the most internationally authoritative accreditation agency in the field of engineering and technology in the United States,and also is one of the sponsoring organizations of Washington Accord.This paper introduces and analyzes the 2020-2021 general criteria of ABET and the program criteria for mechanical engineering program.The enlightenment from ABET accreditation criteria to China’s mechanical engineering education is discussed from the perspective of program educational objectives,curriculum andfaculties,etc.
