摘　　要：白露为霜,秋日渐凉。汽车随乡村公路蜿蜒向上,远处山峦叠嶂、云雾缭绕,时隐时现的房屋群从山谷到山腰层层叠叠铺开——这里是凉山彝族自治州,中国最大的彝族聚居区。千百年来,这个中国最古老的民族之一,在这片神秘丰茂的土地上,创造出灿烂多姿的文化:彝文是当今唯一“活着”的世界六大古文字之一;火把节被称之为“东方的狂欢节”,每年吸引着大量中外游客前来体验;毕摩文化、木里藏乡风情等多民族文化在这里交相辉映。The autumn air becomes cool and even dew freezes off.The car drove on a country road that curved uphill.In the distance,mountains were enveloped in cloud.H ouses were scattered everywhere from valleys up to mountainsides.It is Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture,the latest settlement for the Yi nationality in China.For thousands of years,Yi,one of the oldest peoples in China,has created a splendid culture on the mysterious and fertile land:Yi language is among the six ancient ones that are still extant across the world;its Torch Festival,known as the Oriental Carnival,attracts a large number of tourists from home and abroad every year;the interplay of Bimo culture,and folk customs of Muli Tibetan Village is felt here.
